The Lover (Man) card — known in Hungarian as the Férfi Szerető — is the primary masculine figure in the Gipsy Tarot deck. When this card appears in a reading, it almost always refers to a specific man: someone the querent loves, desires, or is emotionally entangled with. It can also represent the querent themselves if they identify with masculine energy. This is the base card of active romantic energy in the deck. It carries the weight of pursuit, intensity, and passionate involvement. Wherever it falls in a spread, it signals that a man's presence, choices, or emotions are at the centre of the situation.
